SQFT, as the name suggests, is a DC based art show showcasing 1’ x 1’ works of art. It first launched as a pop-up exhibition in 2023, and returned again in 2024 in the Union Market District. Produced by Studio Usan and JAB Arts, the show featured a long roster of artists including a number of local favorites.
I was commissioned to develop the minimalist logotype and style used for digital marketing and on-site vinyl. The clean logotype sits within a 1 x 1 square with the type aligned to the top-left. The square element from the logotype is then repeated to frame content in marketing material against three different colorways.
It was a pleasure working with the creative minds behind this project, and I hope to see this concept come back for a third year.
